To My Clients and Friends Over These 43 Years of Law Practice

As of December 31, 2023, I will be closing my law office.

I do so for the best of all reasons; to spend more time with family, which, mirabile dictu, is increasing with the addition of grandchildren.

In looking back, I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every nanosecond of the practice of law, largely because of the wonderful clients I have been privileged to serve and the many fine lawyers, paralegals, engineers, and other professionals with whom I have been able to work. I gratefully thank all of you for this opportunity.

Having written two books, edited a third, and published hundreds of articles while practicing law, I do not see myself as retiring or leaving the workforce but rather writing more while making more time for family.
